Clayworks

Clayworks is a purpose-built, fully furnished, rental development of 85 studio, one and two-bedroom apartments in North Acton. The client, Imperial College London, wanted the new identity to subtly link with the College’s brand and their other recent PRS developments — through colour palette and use of a sans-serif typeface.

Following thorough research, we took inspiration from historical photographs of the site, an old clay brickworks, to create a uniquely-strong stencilled industrial typeface with a muted terracotta and deep blue colour palette. The bespoke logo and strong colour blocks referencing the breaks in the building’s glazing.
