What’s in a name?

Having a good name for your building or property development is pretty critical to the successful launch and marketing of a development. Be sure you follow these rules…

  1. Is it relevant? There is little point calling a urban apartment scheme ‘Something Gardens’ if there are none!
  2. Is it authentic? Don’t make the mistake of naming your site based on a tenuous link to its history that no-one will ‘get’.
  3. How does it sound to say it out loud? If it’s odd, difficult or could be mistaken for another word, then you’re in trouble.

In short your sales and marketing teams will be using this property name for quite some time; so make sure it’s something you’d be comfortable to say over the phone to a potential buyer.
